Throughout 2016 I have really loved my Stick to Stigu planner. With the little stick man and bunny illustrations it looks really cute on my desk, slips into my bag, and generally keeps my life organised.
Now Stick to Stigu have a bigger range – not just diaries, they also have to-do lists, notebooks, and an app, all designed to ensure you have a balanced, organised life.
The diary I’m reviewing today is very similar to the one I have used all year.
My Stick to Stigu planner is spiral bound. Last year I worried about this binding – you know if you get it a bit squished you can’t turn the pages, and sometimes the back pages escape the binding and you can’t quite get them back in again. Well, I am very pleased to report that none of those things have happened and the spiral binding on my Stick to Stigu planner is as fresh as it was a year ago. For 2017 Stick to Stigu are also offering a slightly more corporate-looking planner which is smaller and plainer in covering, and book binded, rather than spiral bound.
I like the size of the planner – it is slightly larger than A5. Each week is displayed on one side of the page with a blank space for notes on the other side. In the corner of each spread is an idea for rest and zest exercises – simple little tips for having a rest or exercises to pick yourself up during the day.
One of the features I’ve enjoyed is the simple pocket at the back of the planner, which I use for all those little bits and pieces (like my holiday card) that I need to carry around for a while. I was pleased to see that’s been carried over to the 2017 Stick to Stigu planner.
Each corner has a little tab on it that you can rip off when you finish a week. A very simple thing but effective, and better than a ribbon you move between the pages that can wriggle out and dangle freely in your bag instead of keeping the place in the diary.
I can tell you how much Stick to Stigu has ensured my life is organised because I misplaced it for a week or so and totally lost what was going on. We almost missed a play date and I found it just in time to make my credit card payment. It really is something you can stick to!
I’ve teamed up with Stick to Stigu to give away a planner to one lucky reader. If you’d like your very own Stick to Stigu planner just complete one or more entries on the Gleam below. Good luck!
