What’s your favourite bedtime story?

What’s your favourite bedtime story?

What’s your favourite bed time story? What story do your children enjoy? Is it the same book as the one you loved as a kid? What book could you read over and over and never get tired?

What’s your favourite bedtime story?

I asked James that question this week. His answer? The Very Hungry Caterpillar

We actually haven’t read that book in a few weeks, as he’s really been enjoying Is There A Dog In This Book?, and also Nick Butterworth’s Q Pootle 5

But apparently Eric Carle’s classic is James’ favourite. Why? James was quick with his answer: Because it’s a happy book.

I used to enjoy Winnie The Pooh, and my mum told me it took a very long time to read the tales, but I do still love that silly bear. My absolute favourite story was of Pooh getting stuck in the Rabbit hole.

What’s your favourite story at bedtime?

I don’t think the girls have read that book, yet. They love fairy tales and Winnie the Pooh.

We love the very hungry caterpillar! I don’t remember my favorite bedtime story, but it was a book about a pig family and the parents still kissed their pig daughter and she got embarrassed at school and stopped kissing them but then she was sad.My parents always kissed me so I identified with it, lol.

I cannot remember what my favorite bedtime story was. I’m not sure I was read to as much as I was sung to. I learned how to read at a young age, so I remember reading Shel Silverstein books when I was a kid.

Ahhhhh my duaghter doesn’t have a favorite. She’s book obsessed but gets sick of books so quick…. I’m constantly having to get her new ones! Thank gif for TJ Maxx & Dollar Tree for having cheap books!

James used to be like that, too, we’d have a different one every day and new books all the time, but now he wants the same story for weeks!
