Playgrounds in North Tyneside – Norham Road

It’s been pretty cold here lately, and today was no exception. We went to the park for a run around with Aunty Verity. We arrived just as it stopped raining, though the wind was biting.

I’ve had terrible back ache since the week before Noah was born, so I was glad of someone else at the playground with us to do the lifting! My sister-in-law was happy to oblige, fortunately.

James climbs the stairs to the slide very easily, but doesn’t always like to go down the slide. Today he declared the slide to be “too muddy and mucky and sticky” so climbed back down the ladder again.

He had a great time running up and down the hill a few times, before being pushed in in the swing by Aunty Verity.

The best bit of the visit to the park today was the snake on the ground, but due to having to put Noah back in the car I didn’t get a photo of it. James was running in the shape of a snake shouting “ssssssss!!” Great fun!

Uncle Mike and Aunty Verity had to go home, and James will be very sad because he has had a brilliant, funny time with them both. He has already asked a few times where Uncle Mike is, and they only left three hours ago!

I think if you manage to get out it changes the mood of the day. Definitely worth it!
