Yesterday I wrote a list of things we do to try to help James get a good nights sleep. I scheduled it to post this morning. Maybe I should’ve posted it last night so that James would’ve had a chance to read it because oh boy! last night sucked!
James went to sleep at 6:15pm, Noah was in bed not too long after, which helped me actually write the post but then at 9:30pm, suddenly James was completely awake. I could hear him bumbling around the landing in the dark. I scooped him up and put him back in bed, and he was snoring before his head hit the pillow. I sneaked out of his room and back to carry on writing. Only to hear him pottering about again about thirty minutes later. This carried on until 10:50, when I pretended to be asleep in my bed and James came through, climbed up into bed and he fell asleep. Until 20 minutes later when Rob came home from work.
Then Noah woke up at 2am; after a feed I put him back down, then he was awake again far too early (6:45am – I mean, it’s an ok time, but not ideal)
Hum. I can’t say this was a typical night, but every now and again just something stops us from having a brilliant sleep.
So, when I was sent some Optrex products to try, I was laughing as I opened the parcel – “…late nights can take their toll, leaving your eyes looking and feeling tired and uncomfortable” said the box of the ActiMist 2in1 Eye Spray. “Perfect” I thought, and quickly squirted some onto my closed eyelids. Yes, really soothing and cooling. No before and after photos, sorry – no one needs to see the bags under my eyes!
I have used the dry eyes rehydrating eye drops in the past – I’m not sure this is how they’re supposed to be used but I love to drop them in my eyes straight before bed. When I wake in the morning I feel much more bright eyed and bushy tailed – no more itchy eyes!
In order to pass on this feeling of rested eyes to you, I have a bundle of Optrex products to give away.
