Playgrounds in North Tyneside – Howdon Park

This playground in Howdon, North Tyneside, is split into separate parts. We only went in the section for younger children, and not in the skate park or part for older children.

Our journey there was pretty scenic!

When we parked up in the small off road car park, we headed into the playground. First things first; swings for Noah and round about for James.

After a very long time on the roundabout, James climbed through the climbing frame just a couple of times and then back to the roundabout!  slide at howdon playground north tyneside

Noah thoroughly enjoyed the bouncers. He squeals and does the little bouncing motion by himself.

Meanwhile several toddlers and preschoolers had come and gone, but James spun round and round. A dedicated spinner!

This is a lovely little playground. It was certainly busy, but everyone seemed to flow around the area well, giving turns as needed and we had a great time. We left long after the children we arrived at the same time as had left! If your child enjoys roundabouts, too, you also might have a lovely time spinning around in Howdon Playsite!

What a great afternoon out with James and Noah, it’s great that the play area’s split into older and younger kids. James looks like he’s having a great time exploring the park although it’s clear that his favourite part is the roundabout, he looks glued to his seat in the video. Noah’s face on the bouncers is a picture, what a couple of cuties you’ve got! Thanks for linking up with me on Country Kids.

Yes, I liked it that there was an area for big kids, and one for little kids. Although it might be tricky if you had an adventurous big kid and a little one and only one parent. Maybe you’d struggle if you like to watch them both.
