When James was a tiny baby, I signed up to texts from the NHS, and each week I receive a new piece of information on my phone. They’re usually about development, and are appropriate to James’ age, for example they let me know when was a good time to begin introducing food, or reminding me about the free 15 hours early years provision for two year olds, and where to check eligibility. This week’s text was about exercise!
We love to play outdoors, at the park or just in the garden, but I do think James would thoroughly enjoy an organised class of some kind. I’ve been looking at mini-rugby classes, as I find the idea of a two-year-old (okay, he’s nearly three) playing rugby very cute!
In the meantime there’s the possibility to have fun creating a video while learning to pass the ball, and then uploading it for the chance to win great prizes!
Have a look at this video at www.passaroundtheworld.com:
Saracens RFC are partnering with Allianz, and to celebrate they are asking people to upload a rugby pass to the website. If you do, you could win prizes like a £150 Ticketmaster voucher, or tickets to see Saracens play, signed rugby balls, or even having lunch with the team!
It’s easy to participate:
- Turn your mobile sideways to film your pass;
- Film the pass, with the ball going from the left to the right (you can do anything in between – your chance to have some fun with it, I think!)
- Upload the clip to the website, making sure first that it’s no longer than 10 seconds, and the file size is under 30MBs.
- All videos uploaded will be entered into a prize draw (terms and conditions apply – see www.passaroundtheworld.com for more information.
I think it sounds like lots of fun, and making the video will get us outside for some activities to count towards the three hours a day, as recommended by the NHS!
Please note this is a PR collaboration and this website has no part in the competition (though we may take part!). Do not upload your video to this website as it won’t count! See the link above for full T&Cs and how to enter.
