After our visitors left, we decided to paint a Christmas tree today. Here’s how it started:
James really enjoyed the feeling of the paint on his hands, and you can see the concentration all over his face as he pushed the paint further over the paper.
Painting, by the way, is not an activity you can set a toddler away with if you potentially have to pick up a newborn. Somehow, paint drifts it’s way over to you, even if you think you haven’t touched it. So Noah got painted today a little bit. And while I was away the purple paint got raided:
James tipped the paint into his hands direct from the pot. All thoughts of a Christmas tree painting have, by now, vanished.
Then, suddenly, James told me he’d finished that painting, and needed new paper.
