Jesmond Dene

Jesmond Dene

Today I headed to the supermarket and drove clean past it. I blame pregnancy brain!

So we made the best of the situation by driving just a little bit further and went to Jesmond Dene for a run around in the park and to see the animals.

It is so beautiful in the Dene right now. The trees are still slowly changing colour.

After an hour of galloping up and down the slide we did actually make it to the supermarket.

Then we rewarded ourselves with a good run around at our local park with the scuttlebug. Brilliant fun.

Jesmond Dene is a wonderful part of the North East. Love Pets corner! #Countrykids

I think I like Pets Corner more than James does! He prefers the slides and talking about the ice cream van (he doesn’t actually want an ice cream, and won’t eat one if we buy it!)

I love the way you turned your passing the supermarket to good use. It looks like you have some lovely parks around you and animals too. I think the supermarket was well rewarded with a park either side. Thank you for sharing with me on Country Kids

Yes, we are very lucky to live here in the North East. So many fab places; Coast, city, and country all on our doorstep.

Looks like you should drive past the grocery store more often. 🙂
