We received a Geo Journey monthly subscription for the purposes of this review. It is a world adventure, collecting souvenirs from different countries, without ever leaving the house. Suitable for children aged 4-10, a subscription would make an ideal gift for a birthday for someone special.
Geo Journey Review
We love to travel and hope the boys learn something about each place we visit. This is a fun way to get to know about a country without going anywhere!
Each month Geo and Atlas, an owl and puppy, jet off on an adventure to a new country and send back a letter and details all about their travels!
First month subscription
The first parcel you receive contains an explorer kit with suitcase, travel journal, passport, map, stickers and activities.
The suitcase is really strong and is ideal for keeping all of the details from each adventure in one place. Noah wanted to commandeer the suitcase as soon as it arrived, but fortunately, we managed to keep it for the purpose it’s intended! Without the suitcase, this subscription would lose a bit of its special feeling, since the case is a fantastic, sturdy, storage box for all the little pieces that you’re sent each month.
The travel journal is a great way for the children to document their findings in each country and we found it sparked conversations about different places. I love that it includes a souvenir from each country too – things like a little pyramid with a mummy inside from Egypt, and (James’ favourite) a small Eiffel Tower from France. The Eiffel Tower souvenir now has pride of place on James’ reading book bag for school, and it is exactly like the kind you can buy when you are at the Tower. There are activities to do and facts about each country, as well as stickers to add to the passport.
We are all looking forward to finding out where Geo and Atlas visit next and can’t wait for our next installment of their adventure!
Monthly Geo Journey subscription boxes for children start from £12 or there are discounts available if you pay either 6 or 12 months in advance.
