It’s a hard life, this blogging lark. While I type this I am munching away on delicious chocolates handmade in the north east of England. Davenport’s chocolates are made in Gateshead, and they have joined up with me to offer you a discount code, which you can find at the bottom of this post, too.
I was sent three boxes of gorgeous chocolates to try, and three more to send to one lucky reader in time for Mother’s Day. The chocolates are superb; really, really lovely and such amazing flavours.
These chocolates are handmade, and covered in smooth, all butter, chocolate. The insides are infused with delightful fresh flavours, like honey spice, artisan praline, and (my favourite) ginger and lemongrass.
The floral collection of chocolates are so good. I have really enjoyed each of these, and found it quite hard to share! Dark chocolate surrounds a soft fondant cream which allows the delicate floral flavours to ‘sing’. This uniquely innovative choice of pure natural oils yields new taste sensations with a nostalgic feel. The flavours include Lavender, Bergamot, and Parma Violet (crazy good).
Strawberry and champagne
These chocolates are brimming with the gorgeousness of strawberries and the luxury of champagne. The texture is like a chocolatey turkish delight, while the flavour is pure strawberries and champagne. This box of delicious milk chocolates is ab absolutely perfect for Mother’s Day.
Discount code for my readers – 15% off Davenport’s chocolates
